Nu White uses clinicaly proven teeth whitening gel designed for teeth whitening home kits. Each NuWhite kit comprises two 3ml syringes of whitening gel, one tube of remineralising gel and teeth trays. Let’s take a look if this home whitening kit is as good as it’s makers claim.
How to use the NuWhite Whitening Kit
The NuWhite whitening kit is simple to use. Just like other gel kits, the first thing you must do is warm the ‘teeth trays’ in water to soften before being put onto the teeth and pressed in to shape. Once cooled the teeth tray will hold the shape of your teeth. Don’t worry if you don’t get the fit right first time, you can simply warm the tray again and give it another go.
If you have never used teeth whitening gel before, we recommend that you try just a small amount in the tray and give it a try on your teeth for five minutes to check for any sensitivity. After the trial 5 minute period, wait for a couple of hours, if all is well, then you are ready to start whitening your teeth.
To use NuWhite, apply a thin layer of whitening gel around the tray and place over your teeth. Then sit back and try to avoid talking or moving too much to keep the tray in place for at least an hour and up to 2 if possible.
It’s probably easiest if you work on the top and bottom teeth seperately as to avoid leaking too much of the gel in to your mouth. NuWhite Whitening Gel is mildly irritating to the throat if swallowed but it is not a risk to health.
It is useful to remember that your NuWhite whitening gel is a type of bleach, and you should be careful to avoid it getting on to your clothes prevent damage. The gel is also irritating to eyes so you should try not to get it on fingers which you might then rub in to your eyes.
The manufacturers of Nu White give a 7 day money back guarantee (as at 1st July 2010)

- 3 x mouldable mouth trays
- Teeth whitening home guide

Does NuWhite have side effects?
Teeth sensitivity can sometimes occur after exposure to the whitening gel. This is nearly always short lived with no long term effects.
Does NuWhite work?
Without a doubt, this teeth whitening home kit will work and the fact that comes with a money back guarantee is a bonus. Dentists use very similar teeth whitening gel not only to whiten but also to strengthen the enamel and protect from sensitivity.
As with all teeth whitening home kits, the strength of the active ingredients is limited to make them safe for home use. This doesn’t mean that they don’t work, it just means that to get the best results you really do need to keep the gel on your teeth for the full 2 hours at a time.
